Minersville Town

In Minersville Town, we are defined less by boundaries on a map than by the sense of shared values our residents hold dear.  Small town values, guided growth, preservation of historical, cultural, and natural heritage are just a few of the core principles that make Minersville Town a wonderful place to call home.

Dear Minersville Town Residents,

Minersville Town Council and Mayor have determined it necessary to implement the following in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with the recommendation received by the Governor’s office and the local health department:

Minersville Public Library will be closed through May 1st with initial plans to update weekly. Upon re-opening, we will limit the occupancy according to the most current recommendations at that time. During this time Minersville Town will be cleaning and disinfecting in preparation for re-opening.

Minerville Town Office will also be closed to the public through May 1st with initial plans to re-open as soon as we can. Town Staff will be onsite to assist the public by telephone, email or other electronic communications Monday through Thursday 9am to 4pm. During this time we encourage all citizens to pay utility bills by phone, online at townofminersville.municipalimpact.com or drop payments in the drop box in front of the building. Drop box will be checked throughout the day during business hours.

Minersville Town Employees will continue in their normal daily duties while observing the social distancing recommendations.

We encourage all citizens to stay informed and be diligent in following the recommendation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Information is available through:

Southwest Utah Public Health Department at swuhealth.org

Beaver County School District is also providing updates at https://sites.google.com/beaver.k12.ut.us/bcsdupdates/

We also recommend staying informed with the latest information made available by Beaver Valley Hospital by following them on Facebook and Instagram.

Minersville Town believes it is important to be diligent and follow the recommendation given by highly educated and trained individuals as we navigate through this time. We encourage all citizens of Minersville to stay calm, be positive and help each other get through this. We live in a wonderful community with loving and giving people, please remember to check on you neighbors, family and friends and help them when needed. Together, we will get through this and we’ll once again be a stronger community.

Sincerely,

Caleb Evans

Minersville Town Mayor
